BRIO unveils new Disney branded product range

BRIO - February 2011

The successful collaboration between one of Scandinavia’s oldest and most renowned toy makers, BRIO, and one of the world’s most beloved companies, The Walt Disney Company, continues with an all-new product range to be unveiled at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in February 2011.

In 2011 BRIO will bring to life some of Disney’s unforgettable characters that everyone knows and loves, characters that have been captivating generations of children and adults alike.

The new collection of characters includes Dumbo, the small elephant with the giant ears; Simba and Nala, the two lion cub friends from the Lion King; and a 101 Dalmatian puppy.

Dumbo
What would the world be without Dumbo? This little elephant has brought memorable times to families through the years ever since he made his debut in the 1941 film by Walt Disney.

In 2011 BRIO recreates Dumbo as a wooden pull along toy. Pull his string and see how he moves in an endearing elephant manner. This toy encourages early walking and helps refine motor skills, and with some imagination, Dumbo will use his ears to fly as well.

The Lion King, Simba and Nala (duo pack)
We first befriended these two lions back in 1994 when the movie the Lion King was released and since then these characters have grown to become some of the most popular Disney characters of all times.
BRIO gives Simba and Nala a new interpretation as wooden toys. Pull the string and see how they follow each other in a bobbing up and down movement. This is endless fun for young minds, encourages early walking and helps refine motor skills.

101 Dalmatians Puppy
This is the first out of the 101 Dalmatians. This toy is based on the 1961 Walt Disney animated film with the same name. This Dalmatian puppy is a friend for life, encourages early walking and refines motor skills as you pull the puppy’s string and the trusted friend follows you in a fun, bobbing motion.
