Two distinct cultural forces come together for a collaboration rooted in authenticity, individuality, and timeless personal style.
Cloe Boutiques is teaming up with King Features to introduce a new collection inspired by one of pop culture’s original leading ladies: Olive Oyl.
The collection will be available at Cloe, Sears, El Palacio de Hierro Stores, and Liverpool Stores from May 11 to June 14.
Also known in Mexico as Oliva, Olive Oyl is a globally recognized character who, while famously linked to Popeye, has always been defined by her own personality. Since her debut in 1919, Olive has stood out for her confidence, individuality, and unmistakable authenticity, with a signature look and sharp wit that set her apart.
This new collection launches May 11, 2026, and features a range of bags, wallets, suitcases, backpacks, toiletry bags, and a diaper bag. Blending vibrant yet refined designs in her iconic red and black palette, the pieces incorporate her unique silhouette in a way that feels both nostalgic and modern.
“We’re always looking for partners who can bring our characters to life in ways that feel authentic and relevant,” said Carla Silva, SVP/GM, and Head of Global Licensing for King Features. “Cloe has a strong point of view when it comes to design and understands how to translate Olive’s personality into pieces that feel both expressive and wearable.”
True to Cloe’s commitment to combining design and functionality, each piece is created for women who approach fashion with intention, offering accessories that stand out and move seamlessly through daily life.
At its core, the collaboration reflects what Olive has always stood for: individuality, self-assurance, and a point of view that is entirely her own. It celebrates women as they are, bringing together personality, confidence, and style that feels truly personal.
Olive has never tried to fit a mold, and that is why she endures. She knows who she is and owns it, and that attitude carries through every piece in the collection.
