The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has announced its endorsement of the Khloris automatic plant watering system from AutoPot, a supplier of plant watering systems that are both highly effective and good for the environment.
Khloris represents a first in indoor plant care. It not only puts an end to hand-watering but actually gives plants full control of their own irrigation; they can draw what they need, when they need it. The system requires no electricity or mains water pressure and is regulated by plant uptake alone.
Khloris is designed for living rooms, balconies, and conservatories, combining a tasteful, sculpted, interior-friendly aesthetic with highly effective, easy-to-use irrigation technology. It’s ideal for those with little available time or expertise, as well as people who might be less able to hand-water their plants. Khloris is also cost-saving, highly efficient and, because it uses no electricity and is water-efficient, good for the environment.
This is the second RHS collaboration with AutoPot following its endorsement of a wide range of AutoPot gardening products in 2024. The RHS logo and endorsement will be incorporated into packaging, PoS material and online.
The products are available now at a wide range of outlets, with demand from gardeners expected to be strong ahead of the spring 2026 planting period. AutoPot has a network of around 40 garden centres of mixed sizes across the UK. It also partners wholesalers operating out of multiple countries throughout Europe and worldwide.
Founded in 2001 by Jason Ralph-Smith, a leading cultivation expert, with his team of skilled horticultural and irrigation specialists, AutoPot is a market leader designed by expert growers for gardeners of all levels.
Continual refinement and improvement of its products has meant that today AutoPot produces one of the most water-efficient and environmentally sustainable irrigation systems available worldwide. No water or fertiliser is lost by the systems, which can be used to grow any crop variety, edible or ornamental, in almost any environment on earth. AutoPot Watering Systems allow people to create self-contained, indoor, semi-indoor, or outdoor green spaces even if they have no earth in which to plant.
Luke Regan, Marketing Executive, AutoPot, says: “We are immensely proud that the RHS has again shown its support for our expertise in sustainable, cost-effective gardening solutions. We in turn are delighted to be supporting and enhancing the RHS’s own aims, such as promoting water conservation and sustainable practices, and greater opportunities to get growing for gardeners.”
Cathy Snow, RHS Licensing Manager, adds: “Inspiring would-be growers to create a green space of their own, absolutely anywhere, is an important part of the aims of the RHS. We are delighted to endorse AutoPot’s innovative new Khloris system, which we are sure will be an important ally in our mission to making gardening more accessible for all.”
