Leading Licensing Industry Executive Al Kahn Joins Pacific Entertainment

Kahn Signs on as Exclusive Consultant in the Preschool and Education Markets

 

Pacific Entertainment Corporation (OTCQB: PENT), creators of the Baby Genius® brand of musical edu-tainment for infants and toddlers, announced that Mr. Alfred Kahn will join the company as an exclusive consultant in the children’s preschool and education markets. The announcement was made on 15th June 2011 by CEO Klaus Moeller at Licensing International Expo 2011.

Mr. Kahn was the founder of 4Kids Entertainment, Inc., a global provider of children’s entertainment and merchandise licensing, and is a leading figure in the licensing industry, responsible for many of its biggest hits, including, Pokėmon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Cabbage Patch Kids. In June 2005, Mr. Kahn was inducted into the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA) Murray Altschuler Licensing Hall of Fame.

Mr. Kahn is deeply involved with charitable work affecting children. In 2002, he created the National Law Enforcement and Firefighters Children’s Foundation to carry out his dream of helping children who have lost a parent in the line of duty. The non-profit foundation directly helps the children of law enforcement personnel and firefighters, as well as helping fund programs, such as anti-drug and anti-violence programs, to benefit all children.

Additionally, Mr. Kahn serves on the Board of Directors of the Stephen Gaynor School and Long Island University.
