Gabby Goodwin invented GaBBY Bows, the first and only double-face double-snap barrette at the age of seven with her mom and has been inspiring and empowering girls with confidence to dream big since. The now 17-year-old CEO has partnered with Invisible Universe to create a line of hair accessories with Serena Williams’ Qai Qai. Their butterfly clips are the first hair accessory to launch.

Collaborating with the GaBBY Bows team was a no-brainer for us,” said Tricia Biggio, Co-Founder and CEO of Invisible Universe, the company behind the internet sensation and animated franchise Qai Qai.

Qai Qai and Gabby are both Black female voices looking to inspire confidence, creativity, and self-love to their audiences, and we couldn’t be more excited to be their first licensed product to date.

Gabby Goodwin shared, “I am super grateful for this opportunity to partner with Mrs. Serena and hope this builds more girls’ confidence and inspires them to follow their dreams and achieve their goals.

GaBBY Bows was the 2023 License This! Competition Winner at Licensing Expo and its parent company Confidence by GaBBY Goodwin was in the 2023 cohort of the Licensing International Diversity and Inclusion Accelerator.

Gabby and her mom Rozalynn have also signed licensing agreements with Retail Monster, 9 Story and Harper Collins for Afro Unicorn and Karma’s World GaBBY Bows and a children’s book, all in development.
