Cartoon Network plans new series for the second quarter of 2016

Since January 2006 Cartoon Network hero Ben 10 has been inspiring millions of viewers around the world. Ten years later, in 2016, Cartoon Network, children’s channel of Turner Broadcasting System, is remaking the superhero with a modern look and feel. In close cooperation with the Man of Action Studios (Generator Rex, The Ultimate Spiderman) they produce a brand-new animated series to the popular action hero. The new Ben 10 series will presumably make its German TV-debut in autumn 2016.

With a more current look the new series on 10-year-old Ben Tennyson goes back to the starting line of the hero’s story: It tells how Ben finds a mysterious alien watch, the Omnitrix that lets him transform into 10 different super-powered aliens. This is how the adventure begins for Ben, his grandpa Max and his cousin Gwen. Together they have to fight villains and safe Earth from alien threats.

After almost a decade it’s time for Cartoon Network to come closer to the current audiences and give them their own version of our hero Ben 10”, said Rob Sorcher, Chief Content Officer Cartoon Network. “Ben 10’s cross-media success makes us really confident that children all over the world will like the new Ben and have great fun with the new series.
