More than 670,000 copies of Hanabi sold in 2013

The year 2013 has been truly successful for ABACUSSPIELE. After their first award-winning game in 2007, last year Hanabi, another game of the company from Dreieich, received the coveted German Game of the Year Award. More than 670,000 copies of the German edition have been sold within its first year. That really looks like a new record; and now the company sets the course for even higher Hanabi sales in 2014.

The Hanabi product line has been expanded by adding a “Deluxe” edition with high class tokens and the “Extra” edition for generation 50+. However, core of the Hanabi family still is the original card game in convenient pocket-sized format that made “Hanabi” the smallest awardee in Game of the Year history.
