NICI accompanies the summer 2011 with new members of the Wild Friends, Chumba, the elephant, and Bubaka, the monkey
Directly from the jungle and the wide plains of the African savanna, two animals, who couldn't be more different, meet. In the Summer Collection 2011, these two new characters complement the Wild Friends programme and not only enchant fans of African wildlife.

On a hot summer's day, Chumba, the elephant, decides to leave the African plains and to go on an outing into the jungle close by. He sets out to find fresh water and to spend a lazy day in the shade of the giant trees. While he is resting under a tree by a stream, he encounters the monkey Bubaka. Although both of them are of opposing character – Chumba being a more quite, balanced type, whereas Bubaka is very lively – they understand and like each other straight away. From then on, they are a wonderful team and have lots of fun together. Apart from their splendid conversations, they also learn from each other every day and compensate the other's weaknesses with their own strong points. An extraordinary but true friendship for life! |
From mid-July 2011 on, the adorable elephant and the sweet little monkey will occupy the nurseries in Germany. This unlikely couple is to be found everywhere, where NICI is sold – in well-assorted gift and stationary shops, in toy stores, the internet, in department stores as well as the over 30 NICI shops.

These loyal companions are available in six different sizes (from 15 cm to gigantic 120 cm) – in a sitting position as dangling plush or as a beanbag keyring and extremely “attached“ as cuddly MagNICIs. The plushy wobble elephant, 20 cm in size, will especially enchant the youngest fans of the African continent. And when even more cosiness is called for, the three elephantastic plush cushions will guarantee cuddly relaxation.
