Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products (FCP) continues to extend its global reach today as it announced the appointment of three new international licensing agents for China, Korea, Central America, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Venezuela, as well as a Director of Licensing for Asia Pacific and Latin America. The announcement marks the first time that Fox Consumer Products has placed representation in China - a nod to the rapidly growing market and popularity of Fox films in the region.

In Latin America, Fox Consumer Products has named CPL t0 oversee its priority brands across Central America, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Venezuela. With over 29 years in the region, CPL is one of the largest agencies in Latin America and represents the region's most prestigious companies. In Asia, China will be represented by Shanghai-based Skynet who oversees some of China's biggest brands across the country's largest network of licensees, while Korea will be represented by Cocoban, one of Korea's most exciting agencies, representing some of the world's biggest brands across licensing, interactive and exhibitors.

The new agencies will primarily focus on global priority brands The Simpsons, GLEE, Alvin and the Chipmunks and Ice Age across apparel, back-to-school, toys and food categories. In addition to priority brands and categories, they will also focus on growing opportunities for the Alien franchise as well as the collectibles market.

In addition to the new agents, Fox Consumer Products has appointed Sammy Nieto as Director of Licensing for Asia Pacific and Latin America. Nieto is an experienced marketing executive with over 18 years of international business development experience. Before arriving at Fox, he served as managing director of a premium promotions agency focused on serving international divisions of consumer product companies. Nieto brings extensive experience in the development and execution of licensed merchandise and promotional activations for international territories.

FCP is also pleased to announce two promotions and a new hire in its U.K. office: Jennifer Buchanan has been elevated to Vice President of European Licensing for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Louise Collins has been elevated to Director of U.K. Licensing, while Rob Hall has joined FCP as Retail Director for EMEA.

Buchanan, who joined Fox's London office in 2006, has achieved tremendous success in expanding the European agent-managed business across 20 different markets. Prior to joining FCP, Buchanan served in several international roles for United Media in New York, including Worldwide Vice President on the iconic "Snoopy" brand.

Collins joined Fox in 2003 as the U.K. office's Licensing Manager where she looked after key product categories, including gift and toy. Her role soon expanded to include apparel and footwear and she was subsequently promoted to Senior Licensing Manager. Her recent promotion came as the result of her continued contributions to U.K. sales and her efforts to develop direct pan-European relationships with key clients.

Finally, Hall has joined FCP after serving as Sales Director for Fox Home Entertainment Canada. Hall was previously based in Fox Home Entertainment's London office, where he managed a variety of key retailer accounts. He has brought considerable retail and commercial experience to FCP's European business through his various roles with the company, as well as working for blue-chip companies, such as Danone.

"These appointments are consistent with our strategy of building our business overseas and we think we have the right pieces in place to develop some really strong programs in some of the world's fastest growing markets," said Robert Marick, Executive Vice President of Fox Consumer Products.
