“One sees clearly only with the heart.” The most famous quote from the book “The Little Prince” has been travelling the world since 1943. More than 150 million books have been sold. Translations into more of 290 different languages make this modern fairy tale on the Little Prince the second-most translated book after the Bible. But also on modern media he still holds records: The official website is available in six languages and registers more than 50,000 visitors each year. About 12 million fans from all over the world follow The Little Prince on Facebook. Small wonder, the Little Prince has more than 150 licensing partners worldwide. Surveys testify what these numbers already suggest: The Little Princes wows 90 per cent within the target group of children aged 6 to 15, and even 92 per cent of adults. This year, the Little Prince celebrates his 75th birthday.
“Who are you?” the Little Prince asked, “You are really beautiful …” “I am a fox”, said the Fox. That is how the friendship between the Little Prince and the Fox begins. The flaxen-haired prince and the cuddly fox are now available as soft toys (Prince 30 cm, Fox 17 cm, suitable for children aged 0+): holding, comforting, and supporting. What is more: The cushion featuring the famous quote “Man sieht nur mit dem Herzen gut” (One sees clearly only with the heart.) on one side and the famous illustration of Prince and Fox (drawn by author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry) on the other side is a real eye-catcher in any child room. |
